To optimize shipping, SureShip™ can consolidate multiple orders' lines into a single Pick List if they share the same recipient and ship-to address. Consolidations are represented on the pick workbench as groupings – any lines sharing the same Group number can be added to the same Pick List.
This article describes how to review open order lines to be picked and create Pick Lists using the SureShip Pick Workbench.
- Orders: Customer Orders.
- Transfers: Transfer Orders.
- Service Orders: Service Orders. For this option, also select the whether the SRO Options to be picked will include lines, materials, or both.
- Skip Order Line When Cycle Count in Process: When enabled, removes results if cycle count is currently in progress for the line item.
- Skip Order Line When Quantity Available is 0: When enabled, removes results with no currently available inventory.
- Include Zero Quantity Available Kit Items: When enabled, include results of kitted items for which one or more component items has no currently available inventory.
- Leave disabled to group lines by order number only.
- Enable to ignore differences in order number and group lines by shared recipient, ship-to address, ship via code, and due date. Use the following options to further consolidate groupings as needed, then click Assign Groups:
- Ignore Ship Via: When enabled, ignores differences in ship via code.
- Ignore Due Date: When enabled, ignores differences in due date.
- Leave enabled to define specific stockroom locations on the new Pick List. For each selected order line on the Orders table:
- Click on the row and navigate to the Inventory tab.
- The bottom-left table may be used to review the Location and Qty on Hand of all available (nettable and unallocated) units for the selected line item currently selected in the top table.
- A Qty To Pick is automatically suggested for each stockroom location. Update if necessary. Refer to this article for additional information about over picking.
- Disable to leave stockroom locations undefined on the new Pick List.
- Print Pick Lists: When enabled, generates a printable report for the new Pick List.
- Print Customer Order Kit Pick List: When enabled, print all component items for any kitted items on the Pick List.
- Generate Bulk Pick List: When enabled, generates an item/location summary report along with the Pick List(s).
