Setting up shipper accounts: UPS® and UPS Freight®

Introduction

This article describes the form used to set up carrier configurations for UPS® and UPS Freight®, which can then be linked to site configurations.

Please contact your AIT Business Services account representative for initial setup of these accounts.

SureShip UPS Config

The SureShip UPS Config form is used to setup shipper information for UPS® and UPS Freight®. Each account receives a unique system-assigned Config ID number, though an optional Description may be set for easy identification.

To add a new carrier configuration (account):

1. Click Create a new object in the current collection.
   

• Enter the appropriate account details in the General, Shipping , and Billing tabs. The Label Directory field specifies the output path for shipping label files generated from this account. The Freight Pickup Start/End Time field is required for freight shipping.
  

To prevent shipping errors, the Billing address set up for the carrier configuration must match the address on the account.

2. Click Save.
