SureShip Pick Maintenance

SureShip Pick Maintenance

Introduction

The  SureShip Pick Maintenance  form can be used to quickly review and update various types of Pick List information. It is also used to reprint Pick List reports and delete Pick Lists that are no longer needed.

New records are automatically added to this form on new Pick List creation. Values within each record are populated according to data entered or selected during Pick List creation, staging, and/or pre-packaging, though some fields may be manually overridden.

This article describes how to navigate this form.

SureShip Pick Maintenance

The SureShip Pick Maintenance form contains a list of all open, packed, and shipped Pick Lists for the current site, and is searchable through data filters. The header for each record contains general information such as Pick List status, picking warehouse, customer and ship-to, pick date, picker, and authorizer.

  1. The Reprint button may be used to reprint a Packing Slip report.
  2. The Status field indicates whether a Pick List is pending staging ("Open"), staged but not yet packaged ("Picked"), converted to a BOL but not yet shipped ("Packed"), or shipped ("Shipped").
  3. The Authorizer is the user who converted a Pick List into a Bill of Lading (BOL).
  4. The Orders field displays all order(s) that the Pick List was generated against as a comma-separated list. Note that this field does not include any leading zeroes in the numerical portion of an order (i.e. Order number S000000120 becomes "S120").

Lines

The upper table contains information about each order and line included on the current Pick List.

Location tab

Selecting a line from the upper table will populate the Location tab with each LocationLot, and Qty To Pick, and Qty Picked combination that units were or will be picked from, if defined.

Location is only updatable on lines where  Qty Picked is zero.

Serial Numbers tab

The Serial Number tab is only applicable to lines with serial number-enabled items. This tab displays all serial numbers that were or will be picked against that line.

Deleting a Pick List

Deleting a Pick List removes it from the SureShip Pick Maintenance form and releases any inventory quantities that had previously been soft allocated to the Pick List.

Only Pick Lists in "Open" status can be deleted.

To delete a Pick List, perform the following instructions:

  1. From the SureShip Pick Maintenance form, click the Pick List number to be removed.
  2. Click Delete an object in the current collection and click OK on the resulting confirmation message.
  3. Click Save.

Refer to this article for additional information about changing or removing individual lines on a Pick List.
