DHL API Key Generation

     

 

 

 

      How To Obtain DHL Test and Production Keys 


  1. To access the DHL API Developer Portal go to: https://developer.dhl.com/form/dhlexpress-onboarding

 

  1. Log in with your username/email address and password or create an account. 

 

  1. Enter your account and company details. 

 

 

 












  1. Select Yes for Are the Requester Details the same as the DHL Express Account Owner details? 

 

 

 

  1. Select I wish to integrate directly to DHL Express – MyDHL API for How would you like to use the API?  

 

  1. Select and specify all requested services. Enter the estimated monthly transaction volume.   

 

  1. Select I already have access/credentials for MyDHL API or XMLPl and specify your username for MyDHL API or XMLPI. 

  1. Select the required fields and click Submit. 

 

  1. Once you have clicked Submit you are brought to the Apps page where the company name is displayed. Select your company name. 

  1. On the View tab the test environment API Key and API Secret Key are displayed. To obtain a Production key click Request Production Access

 

Test 

 

Once all Test and Production carrier credentials are set up proceed with the following steps: 

  1. In Infor SyteLine™ Open the Form SureShip DHL Express Connection Configurations

  1. On the Form, your Config. ID is automatically populated.  
  2. Specify a Description. Example: Your Company DHL Test  
  3. Specify the Account Number.  
  4. Specify a User Name. This is your test key username.  
  5. Specify a Password. This is your test key password.  
  6. Specify the Web Service URL.
  7. For Test environments use the DHL Test URL https://express.api.dhl.com/mydhlapi/test  

For Production environments use the DHL Production URL: https://express.api.dhl.com/mydhlapi 

      9. Specify the Pickup Window. Use the 24-hour HH:MM format. 

 

 


      10. Specify the document format or template you prefer. If left unselected, DHL uses its default template (the first option in each list).
