Generating Shipping Documentation Using The SureShip Console

Generating Shipping Documentation Using The SureShip Console

Introduction

The SureShip Console can be used to automatically generate various types of shipping documentation. This step is one of the last steps of the packing and shipping procedure and can occur before or after shipment finalization.

This article describes three methods for generating shipping documentation.

Verify that the Pack Scan tab is displayed for the correct BOL before proceeding.

Printing shipping documentation before or after shipment finalization

  1. To add or review order notes to be printed on various shipping documents, navigate to the Order Details tab from the bottom of the form.

To add a note to an order number, select the appropriate Order from the left grid and click Order Notes to open Object Notes. Enter and save a note using the standard process.

  • To add a note to a specific line number, select the appropriate Order and Ref Line from the left grid and click Line Notes to open Object NotesEnter and save a note using the standard process.
  • To add a note to a specific release number, select the appropriate OrderRef Line, and Ref Release from the left grid and click Release Notes to open Object NotesEnter and save a note using the standard process.
  1. Navigate to the Documents to Print tab from the bottom of the form. For each document type to be printed for the BOL, verify that the Selected checkbox is enabled and that all print option flags are appropriately set. Update as needed.

These settings are inherited from global or customer-specific document printing default options, but may be overridden as needed. Some print options are only applicable to certain shipping documents.

  1. Click Print/Reprint Docs.
