SureShip Console Shipping

The SureShip Console is an all-in-one tool used to process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for both parcel shipments and less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipments. The section below describes the SureShip™ packing and shipping process flow at a high level.

  SELECT UNITS TO CREATE A BOL

Generate a new BOL against a Customer OrderTransfer Order, or Service Order by selecting units directly from inventory or importing units from a Pick List.

  PACKAGE UNITS

Distribute units into packages, assign package weights, and palletize if necessary, depending on whether the shipment will be processed as a parcel shipment or LTL freight shipment. Refer to this article for additional information.

  ENTER SHIPPING OPTIONS

Review shipping options, carriage values, and insurance values; enter LTL freight quote numbers and pickup dates; and enter international shipping information as applicable, such as export date, mode of transport, International Transaction Number (ITN). Refer to this article for additional information.

  SELECT A SHIPPING SERVICE

Compare rates and select from a variety of carriers and shipping service types as needed. Refer to this article for additional information. 

  CREATE / ENTER TRACKING NUMBERS & SHIPPING LABELS

Automatically generate tracking numbers, shipping labels, or manually enter tracking numbers from pre-generated shipping labels. Refer to this article for additional information.

  FINALIZE SHIPMENT & PRINT SHIPPING DOCUMENTS

Finalize and close out the BOL and automatically generate shipping documentation to be included with the order.
