SureShip Bulk Shipping Utility
Introduction
For Bills of Lading (BOL) that have been fully processed through tracking number generation/entry, the SureShip Bulk Shipping Utility can be used to finalize multiple shipments at once. When used, this method replaces the single shipment finalization procedure from the SureShip Console.
This article describes how to complete multiple BOLs at once.
Finalizing shipments in bulk
Electronic signature functionality is not available for bulk shipping.
- Use the fields at the top of the form to search for BOLs based on one or more of the following criteria:
- Status: Search for Open BOLs awaiting bulk shipment, or quickly review Shipped BOLs that meet additional criteria described below.
- BOL: Search for BOL numbers in a specific range.
- Ship Date: Search for BOLs whose listed ship date falls in a specific range.
- Customer: Search for BOLs whose associated customer number falls in a specific range.
- Ship Via: Search for BOLs based on the associated ship via code.
- Carrier: Search for BOLs based on the associated shipping carrier.
- Freight: Search for BOLs based on whether they are freight (Yes) or parcel (No).
- The search table below will be updated to display all BOLs that meet your filter criteria. Enable the Select checkbox for all BOLs to be completed, then click Process.
The Msg column will display a confirmation message on successful shipment finalization. If the shipment on a selected BOL is not successful, the Msg column will display a message describing the reason for failure.
