Finalizing shipments using the SureShip Console

Finalizing shipments using the SureShip Console

Introduction

The SureShip Console can be used to ship units out of inventory. This step is one of the last steps of the packing and shipping procedure, and can occur before or after printing shipping documentation.

This article describes how to finalize a shipment and complete a Bill of Lading (BOL).

Refer to this article for additional information about finalizing multiple shipments at once.
Verify that the Pack Scan tab is displayed for the correct BOL before proceeding.

Finalizing shipments

  1. If shipping documentation will be printed as part of the shipment finalization procedure, verify that the correct document types are selected. Refer to this article for additional information.
  2. Click Print Docs/Ship Orders.

      3.      A confirmation message will appear. Click OK to continue.

If the SureShip shipping electronic signature type is enabled, the Electronic Signature Required form will be displayed. Complete an electronic signature using the standard process to continue.
  1. A second message will appear on successful shipment finalization. Click OK.

  1. The BOL’s Status will update to “Shipped” and any selected shipping documents will be generated.

At this stage, all units on the BOL are relieved from inventory and ready for invoicing, and any shipping notification emails setup for the customer ship-to address will be sent.
