SETTING UP TEST FEDEX ACCESS KEYS

Setting up TEST Fedex Access Keys                             


Below are the steps for generating TEST Fedex Access Keys for kiosk setup and management in CSI.

  1. Begin with clearing your cache/browsing history on your computer. 
  2. Search for FedEx Web Services | FedEx Developer Resource Center
  3. On the homepage, you will click on “Get Started” under Develop and Test

      4.      Enter your User ID and Password
      5.      Click on “Get Your Test Key”




  1. Fill in any missing information.  You have the option to change the email address if you need to. Click Continue.

    

                                



  1. Click Accept


  1. Copy/Save the information given (Developer Test Key, Test Account Number, Meter Number) for use in CSI kiosk setup.



  1. Check your email for the additional information given by Fedex (Test Password, Test Account Number, etc.).  This information will also be needed when setting up the kiosk in CSI.
  2. Make a note of the date you created the access keys.  You will need to renew these each year on the date they expire.


Log in to CSI


Entering TEST Fedex Access Keys in CSI                             

Open Form – SureShip Fedex Config

AIT Test will be the first selection.  You will add two additional credentials, one for Test and one for Production.  Both must be set up for Fedex.

Add new record by pressing Cross with Circle around It

Description = it’s your choice to name this - example: ‘Your Company Name’ Test

Username = Developer Test Key from Fedex website during access key generation

Password = Test Password from Fedex Email received after access key generation

Account # = Test Account Number from Fedex Email received after access key                                           generation

Meter # = Test Meter Number from Fedex website or Fedex Email

URL = Test URL from Fedex email received after access key generation

Label Directory = your choice, this will be the place on the utility server where fedex label files come back and where you want them saved on your server. Most people have separate sub-directories for each carrier and credential type (i.e. …\FedEx\Test\, …\FedEx\Prod\, …\UPS\Test\, …\UPS\Prod\, etc.)

Freight Account = 


Hit Save


The program may return to the first record which is AIT Test.  Please make sure you are on ‘Your Company’ Test before continuing.


Under Shipping and Billing tabs, all fields should be filled in.


Attn:  = your choice

Name: = Company Name

Address:  = 1202 Chalet Ln

Address Line 2 = Do Not Delete – Test Account

City: = Harrison

State: = AR

Zip: = 72601

Country = US

Phone = your choice
